I actually intended to wake up at 10am but instead woke up at 8. I felt that I had a couple of things that I need to settle and so decided to wake up early. First was to get my journal of yesterday’s trip done. Then I went to get my clothes washed and had to go to “Les Glenan”, the block next to mine. I was hoping that maybe I might meet Ana since she is staying there. If only I have someone to spend the Sunday with. But of course I didn’t see her. After lunch it was going down to the multimedia centre to get the tour plan settled. There were just a few souls in the centre because it was the school holidays and the only people around were foreigners like me. Chinese, Spanish, Africans, etc. The tour plan should be ready by the end of this week. It has dragged too long and I already have to change hostels for London and Paris. I received some entertaining songs and clips from ZP. The Army song was quite funny. Who sang it? Jack Neo? I remember he used to have VCDs on army jokes.
In the afternoon, I called home and told mum about all the adventures I had for the past 2 weeks. And I told her how busy I was for the past one week. Finally she felt that time seems to pass pretty fast too. I would be in France for 3 months in 2 days time. And when I call home the next time, it would be in May. After the call, I wanted to do some OpenGL but thought it was stupid to do so. Haven’t I had enough of work? So I listened to some music and played some games. After a tomato feast dinner (I had a can of tomato and sardine with tomato sauce and spaghetti), I watched Monster Inc. Lots of fun in the show. All those VCDs that I brought from SG are now lying on the table, untouched. Maybe I should start watching them on week days if not I wouldn’t be able to finish them. But week days are normally busy and tiring for me. Moreover, I still got animes to watch.
After the show, it was time to plan the agenda for this week again.
1. Very important. Settle FYP.
2. book all hostels, air tickets
3. settle experiment 5 before Thursday
4. work on frequency technique
5. select a destination to go to on Saturday. Think I can only go to Belle-Ile after Exp5 is settled
6. start on my papers
7. try to meet Ana
Sundays are no longer boring for me anymore. I treasure this time to relax and plan ahead. Come to think of it, it seems that I have gone through a lot but it really has been just 3 months here in France. A very short time I would say. And the remaining 2 months would be even shorter and faster to pass. Just hope that no new tasks would appear in my work. Previously my work was derailed and went off course. Now it is on course again and hope that it would be smooth sailing till 18th June. All the way man.
