Normally I would wake up when the sun has already risen. Today, I woke up at 8am as per normal but it was still a bit dark outside. I guess it would take sometime for me to adjust my sleep schedule due to the Daylight Saving Time. The morning was spent a little on my work but I was just wasting time. I had some work to do but those were planned for tomorrow and Fri. Hence, I soon found myself planning for the tour again. Finally I had finalized the London trip which really took me quite a lot of trouble because London is too big and we have too little time. At lunch, I asked Laurent to eat with us and went to call the other guys. It turned out that all of them had some kind of meeting except Nicolas and Jean-Marie. So the 4 of us went for lunch. Laurent had to buy his food ticket and queued at the student section. After I had chosen my dessert, I found that my tray was gone! Someone must have mistakenly taken my food. This was real bad because the food cost 2 euro and unluckily I just brought 1 food ticket today. Then I saw a madam taking a tray of food which looked like mine but I wasn’t sure because everyone was having fries and steak. So I asked her did she make a mistake. She checked the food and realised that it wasn’t hers because she had taken carrots originally. She apologized and returned me my tray and fortunately, she managed to find her own tray in the end. Really scared me.
We found a table of 4 but Laurent had gone somewhere else to eat. Nicolas went out of the staff section to the student section to find him. Awhile later, I too went to look for him but in vain. Actually, I went just to wayang a bit. I can’t really be bothered if he went somewhere else. Back in SG, I would definitely bochap. Then Jean-Marie asked if he got a mobile phone. These guys were really determined to make sure that everyone eats together. In the end we still couldn’t find him and continued with our lunch. After lunch, I went back to the office and found Laurent was already back. I told him it was ok if he just takes his food and joins us at the staff section. He apologized to me and I said normally we eat at the student section because there are more tables there but today there were just 4 of us so we stayed at the staff section. Then I asked him to do another exp for me. I realised that although he wrote with his left hand, his master hand is his right one. He said for everything except writing, he would use his right hand.
After the exp, I had nothing to do at all and was too sick to do any work also because of my flu. So I went on to plan my trip to Paris. I realised again that we had too little time to explore this great city. Really hope that there would be flight vacancies on the 11th so that we can have another 2 more days in Paris and I can go to DisneyLand. For now, I had put that place aside. But it costs 40 euros to enter, that’s about 85 SGD. For the entire afternoon I was busy planning while Laurent was doing some kind of graphics thing. Not programming I guess, but more of photoshop stuff. As for Jeremy, I wasn’t really sure. At 5pm, I really couldn’t tahan anymore as my nose was completely blocked and went back to INSA. How I wish I have a bowl of spicy hot laksa now to cure my nose!!! Instead, I had a bowl of instant noodles. Then I took out my map of Paris which I bought in Kinokuniya using hui’s voucher before coming. It was very clear and well labeled and laminated. It seemed to me it is pretty easy to get to those few places of interest which are:
Arc de Triumph
Louvre Museum
Eiffel Tower
Notre Dame Cathedral
Ave Champs Elysee
Sacre Coeur Monmartre
Georges Pompidou Centre
Pantheon
Castle Versailles
Castle of Versailles would be a bit far but definitely a must see. And near Monmartre, there is the famous Moulin Rouge. All these make me want to take a train to Paris now just to see see. As I read about all these places in Paris and London for the past one week, I began to feel less excited about my own small trips in Brittany. Similarly when I started traveling in Brittany, I didn’t feel like going down to the city centre of Rennes anymore. But I am still very looking forward to the trip this Saturday. Just hope that I can recover in time. Also I have told the guys that I won’t be playing soccer tomorrow because of my flu.

PS: think today there is a World Cup Qualifying match between France and Israel. From the notice in INSA, the match would be broadcast at 2030hrs but dunno where.
